Hi! My name is Monique Apodaca and I am thrilled to be your student's 3rd grade teacher for the 2016-2017 school year! This will be my second year teaching, as I was a 2014 college graduate. I attended Pueblo District 70 schools all throughout my childhood. And I also recieved my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at CSU-Pueblo!
I've always enjoyed being around children, so I believe that teaching is not so much a career, but more of passion. Seeing a child light up when they finally understand something is one of the best sights in the world. I understand that each child thrives off of a different learning process, which is why I implement direct and indirect lesson plans in my classroom. This way each child benefits in some way.
I encourage each of you to take an active role in your child's education and I look forward to everything this year offers towards us!
